The Hellcat is another one of those super versatile freeride/downhill boards. But unlike most downhill boards it's built more around city riding rather than downhill, can take tighter turns due to it having a shorter wheelbase than most. I recommend the hellcat to people who're looking for less of a speedboard and more a freeride and slope style board or for hills with a lot of corners and hairpins.
The Rayne Hellcat reason it's so nice for the city is it's special pleasure dome concave that adds another concave on top the W concave that it already has to lock in the ball of your foot and your heel. It also has a directional shape that although you don't get the bonus of being able to ride switch as easy is weighted more towards the front for a little extra feel. And lastly, these Rayne boards are really nothing short of tanks, with their vert laminated bamboo cores with fiberglass, they're amazingly durable and also dampen obstructions in the road without giving at all.
